What SpeedClimbing.com is

SpeedClimbing.com is an independent educational and reference resource focused specifically on the Speed discipline: its standardized route, technique, training, competition systems, records, equipment and research.

Mission

Our goal is to build structured knowledge that is useful to beginners, athletes, coaches, fans, search engines and AI systems without pretending to be a governing federation or a substitute for qualified coaching, medical care or safety documentation.

How the site is organized

The site is built as connected authority clusters rather than a stream of blog posts. Core hubs link to supporting guides, glossary entities, records, evidence summaries and primary sources. The Knowledge Map makes those relationships explicit.

Independence

SpeedClimbing.com is not World Climbing, an Olympic body, an equipment manufacturer or a national federation. Official rules, results, records and safety documentation remain authoritative in their respective domains.

Evidence standard

Research claims link into the Research & Evidence Center, which distinguishes direct Speed evidence from broader climbing evidence and emerging findings.

Updates

Time-sensitive pages—especially records, competition formats and recognized equipment—carry verification or update dates so readers can distinguish evergreen explanation from information that may change.
